In 1972, Hubert Lee had his first Top Ten hit with The Clarendonians “Night Owl” which peaked at No.3 on the Gleaner Hit Parade, and produced by Prince Tony Robinson. Later in the same year, his solo single “There Is Something On Your Mind” produced by Clive & Leonard for Randy’s Records, climbed to No.8 on the Hit Parade. In the following years, he had other hits with The Clarendonians “High School Dance” and “This Is My Story” also produced by Robinson. By 1974, Hubert Lee was recording for Bunny Lee (no relation) “What I Am Living For” “Crying Time” and Pen In Hand”
