CMC – Caribbean Community (CARICOM)leaders will meet with President Barack Obama this weekend, according to a statement by the CARICOM Secretariat.

It said that the meeting will take place during the April 14-15 Sixth Summit of the Americas in Colombia.

The Secretariat said that 12 regional leaders, two deputy prime ministers and the CARICOM Secretary General Irwin LaRocque will be attending the summit.

Prior to their meeting with President Obama on Sunday, the regional leaders will also meet with Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Saturday.

The CARICOM statement gave no details as to what would be discussed between the regional leaders and United States and Canadian leaders.
