AT the peak of a promising secular career, singer Judith Gayle walked away and gave her life to God.
Years later, she has no regrets. For her, it was a matter of heeding the Saviour’s call.
GAYLE… promoting her latest album I Believe

“I was signed to a company in Atlanta with big things set to happen,” Gayle recalled.
However, she said she could no longer ignore God’s voice and became a born-again Christian.
Gayle, who is in Canada promoting her latest album, I Believe, describes the set as a personal testimony.
“I’ve been through so much in my life and God wanted me to come to the place to understand that with Him nothing is impossible — all I have to do is trust Him,” she said.
I Believe contains the songs Rejoice, God Is Amazing, God Is So Good and Thank You Lord. Gayle teams up with fellow gospel acts Kevin Downswell, Sista Sasha, Kerron Ennis and Alleluia Bwoy.
Some of the tracks are done in Spanish, a strategy to break Gayle in the massive Latin market.
Originally from Clarendon, Gayle got into music in the late 1980s, was initially a cabaret singer in north coast hotels.
Since leaving the secular scene, she has released three albums — The Sun Shines Again, Broken to Be Blessed and Designed to Worship.
