You Haven’t Seen Nothing Yet is the name of a show taking place at Nottingham Playhouse on Saturday, June 16, at 7.45pm.
The family friendly show features Wayne ‘Dibbi’ Rollins, Kane Brown, Tippa Irie, Junior Giscombe and Orin Lewis,. along with a support cast.
This laugh-out-loud musical comedy, set in a Jamaican Church, boasts a selection of soul, funk, reggae and gospel songs.
While undercover in a Jamaican Church, Bashiyra enters a whole new world, where The Pastor and The Deacon share a secret, the choir is harmonically off key, with multiple and comical personalities all vying for the title of ‘superstar’ and everyone seeming like they’ve had one energy drink too many.
The live music for the show is provided by the fabulous seven-piece MAC Band.
The show is in conjunction with the leukaemia and blood disease charity ACLT. With constant need to raise awareness for this cause, the show hopes to raise an ample amount of money.
Bashiyra is the recipient of The Nina Simone Award 2011 and has been acknowledged by the official estate and legacy of Dr Nina Simone.
Tippa Irie, one of the UK’s first home-grown reggae MCs, has established himself as a reggae artist, producer and writer.
His most successful song credits include co-writes such as the Black Eyed Peas’ Grammy nominated Hey Mama and Dum Diddley. To this day, Tippa Irie remains one of the most sought-after Reggae entertainers internationally.
Wayne “Dibbi” Rollins is one of Britain’s leading comedic performers. Also an actor, writer presenter and DJ, he has performed as a stand-up comedian for over ten years.
