Mighty Crown “The Far East Rulaz” wrapped up an explosive month-long European tour at the close of June.  And from the looks of things, Japan’s most coveted sound system has no intention of slowing down. Mighty Crown’s long overdue European Tour, which consisted of heavy hitting performances in 20 cities, attracted thousands of diehard followers. After loads of requests from promoters and fans, the tour went off without a hitch and was a bonafide success.  Mighty Crown was thrilled to return to Europe after taking a hiatus from touring to solidify business deals.
As one of the industry’s most accomplished sound systems, Mighty Crown has a wealth of accolades under their belt, including sponsorships, endorsements, stadium shows, a clothing brand, and a record label. With dancehall and sound system culture at the core of Mighty Crown’s existence, the celebrated sound highlights these elements in every facet of their empire.  “We are one one of the few camps that approach this craft as business, therefore, longterm planning and strategies are put in place to ensure the longevity and strength of the Mighty Crown brand,” says Mighty Crown’s manager Garfield “Chin” Bourne of Irish and Chin.  “Now that we have accomplished gaining the attention of major companies and corporations, we are glad to be back on the road.”
Mighty Crown’s recent stint in Europe was a special treat for fans, as the sound’s core selectors Masta Simon and Sami T, appeared together on the tour.  Over the span of their career, it’s been rare for Masta Simon and Sami-T to tour together.  But because of the demands of their many fans, the brothers united for the highly anticipated tour. No one was disappointed!  The powerhouse sound laced venues night after night with music ranging from foundation and culture, to the latest dancehall. The crowds consistently roared at the selections played. “Overall, people in Europe have a strong appreciation of Reggae music and it was a pleasure to play for them. I am happy that I had a chance to unleash some big Mighty Crown dubs for the first time ever,” says Sami T.
On the recent tour, “The Far East Rulaz” landed in various hot spots through out Germany, England and Switzerland. According to Mighty Crown, “Europe was all about music and vibes from the day we touched down.”   Masta Simon declared “Every stop had good vibes. We never realized that we had so many fans all over Europe!  We are truly blessed.”  Since Mighty Crown started touring in Europe several years ago, they have become one of the market’s most requested sounds. The sound plans to return to Europe in December 2012.  While Masta Simon and Sami T were in Europe, New York based member Ninja had numerous U.S. performances. Additionally, the selector has been holding down his role as co-host of the popular Sound Chat Radio program.

It’s been an eventful Spring and Summer for Mighty Crown, who will be featured in an upcoming campaign of footwear giant Clarks, one of the reasons behind their break from touring. This endorsement is on the heels of high profile media features on Vibe.com and Sirius XM Radio’s “The Joint.”
