Italian reggae singer Alborosie is performing a live show at the Roman Arenas in the capital, July 22, Mediafax quoted the Reggae Nights organizers as announcing. Alborosie is the first Caucasian artist accepted to record for the record company of the  legendary Bob Marley and the first Italian reggae singer that enjoys world reputation. He is the recipient of the MoBO (Music of Black Origins) Prize for Best Reggae Artist in 2011, outperforming Damien Marley and Nas. In his Bucharest concert, the artist will be accompanied by a 13 piece band including Jamaican singer Ikaya and the Schengen Clan Band. The concert is part of the European tour Rebirth of Reggae Tour 2012.His latest album, “2 Times Revolution”, where Alborosie plays several instruments, is dedicated to “all the rebels in the world”. Like his legendary predecessor Bob Marley, Alborosie wants to create music able to foster social change. Also performing July 22, will be General Trix, the only Romanian reggae artist with a record recorded abroad. Born in Timisoara, he began his musical career at the age of 15.
