Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22, the Mateel Community Center will present the 28th Annual Reggae On The River at Benbow Lake State Recreation Area in southern Humboldt County. An internationally renowned celebration of the best in reggae and world music,, the festival will feature nearly 30 classic and cutting-edge reggae and world music artists on two stages, along with more than 80 vendors, a lively kid zone, and a weekend full of fun on the banks of the Eel River.

Confirmed artists include Toots & The Maytals, Midnite, Lady Saw, Romain Virgo, Calypso Rose, Turbulence, Oliver Mtukudzi & Black Spirits, Fantan Mojah, Duane Stephenson, Nkulee Dube, Tosh Meets Marley, Pato Banton & The Now Generation, Yami Bolo, Alika, Bambu Station, Reemah, Daniel Bambaata Marley, Humble Soul, Lady Passion, I-Kronik, Winston Jarrett & Guidance Band, Quinto Sol, Junior Toots, Indubious, Casper Loma Da Wa & The Mighty 602 Band, Winstrong, Yellow Wall Dub Squad, The Lions, Streetkind, Synrgy, and Juce, plus top local DJs like Second Nature Sound, Guerilla Takeover, Onewise Sound, I&I Vibrations, Rude Lion, Brimstone, DJ Jacques & Guacamole (WBLK), Dub Cowboy, SunDub, DJ Veyn, and more.
