Reggae artist I-Octane has recently been admitted to hospital after falling ill late last week.

According to a member of the artist’s team, I-Octane had an asthma attack on Thursday night. He was taken to a hospital in Kingston where he is now under the care of his physician.

I-Octane is said to be recuperating, but has been advised by his doctor to rest until further reassessment.

As a result, I-Octane will be unable to honor some of the commitments he had previously scheduled.

Although he is still hospitalised, he is expected to make a full recovery and is looking forward to performing for his fans.

I-Octane’s most recent performance was at Reggae Sumfest which was held recently.

Earlier this year, he released his debut album Crying to the Nation which made No.1 on the New York Reggae Chart.
