CODE RED CREW’S SUCCESS A SHOT IN THE ARM FOR SOUTH FLORIDA REGGAE INDUSTRY!

Code Red Band exploded on the scene ten years ago and quickly became the number one reggae show and backing band in South Florida. Now they have the number one song to match. They sit atop the South Florida Reggae Charts with their new hit single “Unconditionally”, an original piece, written and produced by bandleader Zemroy “Zimma” Lewis. Bobby Rose, the band’s newest member did a fantastic job on lead vocals and has women going out of their minds when he shows off his dynamic vocal range. “Unconditionally” is now working its way up the New York Reggae Charts and is becoming a favorite as far away as Malaysia.

The band has shared the stage with countless superstars over the years and has enjoyed doing so. Their impressive resume comprises of over one hundred artists which they have backed. Backing artists outside of the reggae genre seems effortless for these masterful musicians who have accompanied Billy Paul (Me and Mrs Jones), Carl Carlton (Bad Mamma Jamma) and the Persuaders (Thin Line Between Love & Hate).
As a show band they have performed at most if not all the major reggae festivals in South Florida and have done many festivals out of town. Their Lousianna fans love to jam to Code Red when they appear on The Annual Lafayette Music Festival. Their recent appearance on the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival has sparked a lot of interest from promoters all over. They have also earned their respect as a party band all over South Florida building and maintaining many “reggae nights.” However through encouragement and advice from their huge fan base, who follows them all over, they are now shifting gears to producing and promoting their own material.

Code Red is a six-member crew. Zemroy “Zimma” Lewis on bass, Jason “J-Vibe” Farmer on keyboards, Duwayne “Shotta” Hoilett on guitar, Desmond “Dezzy” Gaynor-Drummer, and lead vocalists, Robert “Bobby Rose” Rose and Oneal “Rasbaba” Burton.
