The funeral service for deejay Maxwell ‘Ranking Trevor’ Grant will take place Sunday, September 2 at the Hagley Park Road Seventh Day Adventist Church, in St Andrew starting at noon.
His sister, Yvonne Bassaragh, told the Jamaica Observer that a wake is scheduled for September 1 at Australia Road off Olympic Road.

Ranking Trevor died from injuries sustained in an accident on August 7 when he was hit from his motorcycle near Cling Cling Oval, a sports complex at the corner of Cling Cling Avenue and Olympic Way, in St Andrew.
He was 53 years old.
Ranking Trevor enjoyed a steady hit run during the 1970s. He was best known for the songs Queen Majesty and Three Piece Chicken and Chips.
He is survived by his mother, four brothers, four sisters and 15 children.
