The ‘Someone Like You’ hitmaker – who is weeks away from giving birth to her first child – was disappointed at not being able to attend the annual Notting Hill Carnival in west London because of her pregnancy, so partner Simon Konecki did his best to make up for her missing the event.
The charity boss arranged a bash with reggae music and some of the singer’s favourite foods, much to her delight.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Simon’s really caring and he knew just how muchAdele loves the carnival.
‘So he decided to bring it to her – by getting their own Caribbean-themed party going at their house.
‘Simon ordered bucketloads of chicken and had reggae music blasting out so Adele would get a flavour of what she was missing.’
The 24-year-old singer – who has been dating Simon for around a year – revealed her pregnancy to her fans on her website in June.
She wrote: ‘I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.
‘I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon. Yours always, Adele.’
