KINGSTON, Jamaica – Police are keeping a close watch on sections of the Bog Walk Gorge close to Flat Bridge as scores of looters have descended on the area.

The looters are removing items from the truck that plunged over the bridge Wednesday night.

 Three men, including a father and son, drowned in the incident.

“Because of the incident scores of residents have gathered in the area removing meat and other items from the truck,” said a policeman on the scene.

Police say they are monitoring the area to ensure that actions of the residents do not cause more accidents.
