JAMAICA-born, America-based singer Tracy Night is determined to make a big impact on the local entertainment scene.

She is currently promoting singles Invincible and Understand — produced by T J Records and Night — are a combination of reggae, R&B and hip hop.

NIGHT… has now stepped into the limelight

The singer, who is now in her late 20s and migrated to the States in 2007, said been ghost writing for other artists but has now stepped in the limelight.

Invincible, according to the former Holy Childhood High student, was initially written for VH1 Reality Series Love and Hip Hop’s Erica Mena.

“I decided to record it myself. The lyrics are a true embodiment of the emotional difficulties I was experiencing at that time,” she told the Jamaica Observer.

“Understand speaks to the break up experience. It zones in on the pain and other conflicting emotions,” she said.

As a fashion model, Night worked on Sean John campaigns. However, the pull of music was greater.

In Jamaica, she records with the Truck Back Records.
