SINGER George Nooks’ latest album, Broken Vessel, is scheduled to be released next week.
The 17-track set is a mixture of inspirational and lovers’ rock songs.
NOOKS… love in any language is acceptable

Nooks told the Jamaica Observer that the songs were carefully chosen to reflect his “spiritual and loving sides”.
“Love in any language is acceptable. I give them tracks that will have them thinking on the love of the Creator and then there are some ballads too that will have them thinking on the human kind of love,” he said.
Among the tracks on Broken Vessel are Can’t Even Walk, I Remember Mama, Bread of Life, If You Don’t Know Me By Now, and Calling Me To Play.
The album was produced by Tad Dawkins with Nooks as executive producer. It will be distributed by Dawkins’ Tad’s International label.
Nooks made his name as a deejay/singer with producer Joe Gibbs’ powerful camp in the mid-1970s.
His hits for Gibbs included Tribal War and Fortyleg Dread. Nooks did the latter as deejay Prince Mohammed.
He had a major comeback in 2000 with a cover of soul singer Al Green’s gospel song, God is Standing By.
