KINGSTON, Jamaica —-

The Jamaican Urban Transit Company (JUTC) Jamaica’s state-owned bus company is putting a halt on people preaching to passengers in commute.

According to reports from the bus company, director Hardley Lewin has told drivers to politely ask religious people to stop evangelising to audiences on buses.

Lewin said that commuters have complained that they feel harassed by preachers who sometimes loudly evangelise on the buses.

Prominent Evangelical pastor, Bishop Herro Blair, says that lay ministers should have first sought the company’s permission before preaching on a bus.
