Commenting on the song, Reid said it not only keeps him current but introduces his music to a new demographic.

“I am working with several international acts to broaden my reach. People like Snoop Dogg (Lion), Fabulous, The Game and Wu Tang Clan are just some of the names I have collaborated with, so it’s evident wi taking the music to higher heights,” he said.

The 48-year-old Reid started in the music business in the late 1970s when hip-hop emerged from the New York City underground.

He scored with several hits during the 1980s including Original Foreign Mind. In 1990, Reid released One Blood, a anthem that topped reggae charts worldwide.

One Blood has appealed to many hip-hop acts who have approached Reid to appear on their songs.

Among his most successful collaborations have been with Alicia Keys on the No One remix; This is Why I’m Hot remix with Mims, and Died In Your Arms remix with T-Pain and Rick Ross.

Next year, Reid will release his Living Legend album.
