AFRO Moses has performed in front of 100,000 people but whatever the crowd size, he brings the same energy and enthusiasm to every show.

The man who is called the African James Brown goes from headlining festivals like the East Coast Blues and Roots or Peats Ridge to playing the local pub scene with ease.

Anyone with an ear for high energy percussion with Afro-fusion and reggae influence will be enthralled.

At the Sydney Opera House recently, he was honoured as a living legend by the African-Australian community.

He is one of Ghana’s most recognisable artists, with a wealth of concerts and tours in Europe and around the world.

He was also involved in the performance and composition of music that featured on a short film, Inja, which was a nominee in the 2003 Oscars.

The Ghanaian-born Afro Moses is not to be missed and you can catch him on Sunday,

he brings The Spirit of Bob Marley seven-piece band to the Hoey Moey, from 4pm to 7.30pm.
