A 40 year old man is in critical condition at Guam Memorial Hospital this morning [Saturday] after being stabbed at the Yigo Amusement Park
Friday night during a Reggae and Rap concert.
GMH Nursing Supervisor Celey Mangrobang reports that the man is in “critical, but stable condition.” He is in the intensive care unit, but he is not on life support, she said adding that he is scheduled for an operation later this morning. He was brought to GMH last night shortly after 11 pm, said Mangrobang.
Mangrobang said that another 25 year old man, who was also stabbed at the concert, was treated and released at GMH last night.
Guam Fire Spokesman Lt. Ed Artero confirmed that medics responded to a stabbing at the concert last night, but he has not provided any further details.
GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia did not have details on the stabbings as of Saturday morning.
The concert featured reggae artist “Collie Budz” and Grammy award winning rap artists “Bone-Thugs.”
