Hope claims that three weeks into promoting a December 15 concert for Kool Haus nightclub in Toronto, a statement was issued electronically by the deejay’s management that he would not be appearing on the show.

“We’re suing them for Cdn$1.5 million as damages for tarnishing our name and as reimbursement for the lost revenues from the cancelled shows,” Hope was quoted as saying.

Junior ‘Heavy D’ Fraser, Tommy Lee Sparta’s manager, told the Jamaica Observer he has not received any legal correspondence from CRV Entertainment Promo. He contends Tommy Lee Sparta received no payment.
