Three family members from Atlanta were reportedly killed in a crash involving a trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Holly on Thursday.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, an 18-year-old family member survived and was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The police said a trailer hit the back of a Toyota Camry motorcar around 10:00 am on Thursday near Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Reports are that the Camry’s driver, 51-year-old Ainsworth Mallett, who operated the Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill on Rockbridge Road, his wife 49-year-old Jacqueline Mallett, and their 12-year-old son, Drew Mallett, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
