International Dancehall DJ Sean Paul is allegedly being sued by a jilted lover, reports in the New York media say.

In the odd lawsuit, Susanne Persson is suing the artist, whose real name Sean Paul Henriques, for US$80 million in damages (approxJ$7.4 billion).

The Swede said her liaisons with Henriques destroyed her life as he allegedly starved her, took away her ability to earn an income and caused her to attempt suicide several times.

The report said that Persson’s has written a tell-all book.

She also accuses the artist of influencing officials allegedly to have her deported from Jamaica in June 2010, said the New York Post.

The media house quotes Sean Paul’s Jamaican lawyer as saying that the artist would not have the influence to have her removed from the country, as Persson’s alleges.
