Vitchous

 

He describes himself as a versatile artist who is ready for the world to embrace and savour his musical artistry.

Michael Bembridge known musically as Vitchous is ready for the big times.  The singjay, who started out as a dancer, began to hone his musical chops while attending the Happy Grove High School in Portland, where he resided.

His love for music and entertainment saw him performing at community and school events where he built up a name for himself on the local circuit.  Aside from his musical aspirations, he excelled academically and in sports, often competing in football competitions.

Inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Buju Banton, Vitchous’ eagerness gave him the push to embark on his musical journey.

Along with two other friends, he formed the group Ikonz. He later relocated to the United States where he embarked on a solo career.

Teaming with Dinero, they formed a production team called Kemicx Production. They have done much studio work in the tri-state area and released a number of songs.

Vitchous has performed at stage shows in Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn New York and Connecticut. He has opened shows for the likes of Sizzla, Capleton, I Wayne, Ed Robinson, Serani, Spragga Benz and Assassin among others.

Among his recent releases are the songs Let You In, Herbs, Party Hop, and Superstar Look.  He recently released the video for Let You In.
