Among Top 10 SoundScan albums

LEGEND, the 1984 ‘best of’ album by Bob Marley and The Wailers, is one of the top 10 selling albums of the SoundScan era, Music-News.com reports.
The SoundScan company began compiling sales data in the United States in 1993.

According to Music-News.com, the album has sold approximately 11,220,000 units in the US in that time, putting it at number nine.
Legend, which contains several of Marley’s popular songs, including No Woman No Cry, Waiting in Vain and Redemption Song, was initially distributed by Island Records three years after the singer’s death.
It has sold over 20 million units worldwide and is the biggest-selling reggae album.
The Top 10 albums of the SoundScan era (since 1993) are:
