The German automaker, which made waves with its “Star Wars” ads the past two years, released a video this week called, “Sunny Side: 2013 Volkswagen Game Day Video with Jimmy Cliff (Get Happy)” on YouTube.

The video, which has nothing to do with VW or football (just like the “Bark Side” teaser last year), features reggae legend Jimmy Cliff singing “Get Happy,” following an onslaught of famed “freak-outs, meltdowns, and temper tantrums over just about anything.”

“In this pre-game release video Volkswagen and reggae legend Jimmy Cliff join together to infuse much-needed positivity and good vibes into a world that’s become awash with freak-outs, meltdowns, and temper tantrums over just about anything,” VW said on YouTube. “It’s time to get happy. 2.3.13.”

The video from VW is one of a handful or so of teaser videos from automakers for Super Bowl XLVII Feb. 3 between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Mercedes-Benz has released two videos related to the big game.
