FREDDIE McGregor’s 36th studio album Di Captain debuts at number eight on the Billboard Reggae Album chart and number 16 on the New York Foundation Radio Top 20 Album Chart. The 15-track set features collaborations with Etana and London-based artist Gappy Ranks. it also appears on the South Florida Album Chart in the number 10 position.

Di Captain is McGregor’s first entry on the Billboard chart since 2002’s Anything for You, which stalled at number 15.

Elsewhere on the Billboard Reggae Album list, Jewish reggae artist Matisyahu replaces himself at number one. His Spark Seeker falls to number two, making way for the Spark Seeker: Acoustic Sessions EP which debuts in the top spot.
