“I have my heart set on that song. It speaks to how I’ll be living when things get better for me, and I know Jamaicans will love it because everyone wants to get to that point in life,” Dappa Dapz told the Jamaica Observer.

The single, produced by the DMG Records Label, comes on the heels of his latest video Trying, which was released in December of last year.

Dappa Dapz, whose real name is Tafique Thomas, began his musical journey singing at concerts at his former school, Pembroke Hall Primary at age 12.

In July 2007, Dapz kick-started his career with the release of his first single Lane & Trenches which was produced by Shawnizzle on the Reverse Rhythm.

“I want to take music to a different level and make people do things to help Jamaica, just like Bob Marley did. I want to see an increase in tourism and job creation and less crime,” he said.
