SINGER Trilla U has dedicated his new, self-titled album to his daughter Nikieta who was shot and killed in Florida four years ago.

“I miss my daughter so much. It’s hard to move on and she is not there. Every waking moment, every breath I take it’s just her,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

TRILLA Recorded on the True Love Productions label, the album contains songs such as Sea of Love, Don’t Hurt Me and I Look To You.

Trilla U, whose given name is Eustace Hamilton, says he has been blessed with a newborn child — two-month-old Leanorah Celine Hamilton.

The singer has a successful solo career with covers of Wham’s Careless Whisper and Michael Bolton’s Back On My Feet Again.

He has also done well with vocal group LUST which also includes Lukie D, Singing Melody and Tony Curtis.

Trilla U is scheduled to perform March 24 on the Easter Musical Explosion at Club Eclipse in New Jersey alongside Errol Dunkley, Little John, Bunny General and Jimmy Riley.
