THE life of photographer and Twelve Tribes of Israel member, Diane Issachar, will be celebrated tomorrow with an event at The Deck in St Andrew, starting at 6:30 pm.
Issachar, who was a fixture on the reggae live scene for over 30 years, died from cancer on February 9 in California.
She also shot album covers for numerous Jamaican artists and musicians including singer Mikey General, saxophonist Dean Fraser, and guitarist Dwight Pinkney.
Born August 12, 1947 in Asbury Park, New Jersey she was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before becoming a professional photographer, Issachar worked with Roger Steffens during the 1980s at KCRN radio station in Los Angeles.
She is survived by her son 34-year-old son Nikiya.
