The 2013 Barbados Reggae Festival begins Sunday with a beach party to be headlined by Bounty Killer.

Scheduled to end one week later, the Barbados Tourist Authority-endorsed event will also feature Junior Reid, Taurus Riley, Admirel Tibet, Yellowman, Pinchers, Aidonia, Cocoa Tea and Busy Signal.

In addition to Bounty Killer, the opening show has a strong dancehall cast including Aidonia, Elephant Man, Tifa and Mad Dog.

Friday, April 26 is the Vintage Reggae Show and Dance at 3Ws Theater, Kensington Oval featuring Yellowman, John Holt, Pinchers, Cocoa Tea and the Fabulous Five band.

Saturday, April 27 is the Reggae Party Cruise on the Jolly Roger with deejays Jon Doe and Assassin, Dooley Unruley, Peter Coppin and Monsta Piece Federation.

On closing day, the action switches to picturesque Farley Hill where Grammy winner Shaggy, Tarrus Riley, Busy Signal and Admirel Tibet will perform.
