GRAMMY-WINNING deejay Beenie Man and his management have inked a distribution deal with Tommy Boy Entertainment LLC to distribute three of the artist’s songs in the United States.

“We have signed a deal with Tommy Boy that will see them distributing the Greatest Gallis song featuring Sean Paul, Soul Mate, a song with Gyptian and one more song produced by Beenie Man’s label, MD Entertainment,” Rohan ‘Blue’ Smith, Beenie Man’s manager, said in a release.

BEENIE MAN… Tommy Boy Entertainment LLC to distribute three songs in the United States

Beenie Man recently completed two weeks of promotional dates in the US where he tested the market for the release of his upcoming EP, King in Control: Dweet Again.

He kicked off performances in Jacksonville, Florida, before moving on to Orlando in that state, Minnesota, Tampa and upstate New York.

According to Smith, the shows pulled large numbers.

“The first performance in Jacksonville was incredible, but the best feedback was at the Epic Event Center in Minneapolis on April 12. Is not just any and any artist can play at the Epic which features big hip-hop acts and such, and Beenie Man locked down the show over the weekend.”

Smith added that if sales of the singles go well, then management will fast-track the EP’s release.

He said influential disc jockeys at urban radio stations in the US have begun to notice Beenie Man’s Dweet Again which has done well in ethnic markets in that country.

Beenie Man scored a huge number one late last year with the song which was released on the Chase Millz-Jah Snowcone label.

He will headline a string of local and established acts at the 13th Wisynco-sponsored Westmoreland Curry Festival at Manning’s High School on Sunday.
