King Rebel

Earth Storm recording artist Aaron Britton aka King Rebel is a very talented and outspoken man who is not afraid to address the social issues that are plaguing the Jamaican society.

The St. Thomas native has decided to tackle the very serious crime problem that has become a serious plague to our island over the last decade with a hot new single aptly titled The Monster.

With lines such as Come let us confront this ya monster today/ urgently with no delay, he urges law abiding Jamaicans to stand up for their rights and play there part in the fight against crime.

The humble Rastafarian chanter said he was inspired to record the track that was produced by his manager Morland Williams of Earth Storm Music, because of the daily news reports about the rapid growth of crime and violence in Jamaica.

“Every time I turn on the radio or the TV there’s another report about some form of crime taking place in my country or some other place in the world, it is very disturbing and we have to do something about it. I’m an artiste that believes that positive word sounds and power can help to make a change, so I decided to take on the crime issue with this song called the Monster,” said the artiste.

The Monster was released over a month and is currently receiving strong rotation on a number of local radio stations island-wide.

“Since we dropped the tune it has been getting some good support because of the positive message and the people really love it. I have been getting some good response from people locally and abroad about it.”

King Rebel is also promoting two other new singles, Faithful and Confidence, both singles were produced and released on the Earth Storm Music imprint.
