The Atlantic City Carnival, a prestigious event that was first staged in September 2011 at the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey, is set to take place on July 19 and 20 this year, and will feature a host of popular acts from the Caribbean.
TonyD Clutcheye will be one of the featured acts at this year’s staging and has been named by the organisers as the carnival’s 2013 Ambassador for New Artists on the Rise.
The reggae singer, who is currently riding a wave of success with his popular single, Everything About Jah, said he is filled with gratitude and feels honoured to have been given this recognition by the organisers of Atlantic City Carnival.
“I’m most grateful for the recognition that the promoters of the Atlantic City Carnival have given me, and it is an honour to be named the Atlantic City Carnival’s 2013 Ambassador for New Artists on the Rise,” he said.
Clutcheye also promised to deliver a spectacular performance for patrons who will attend the prestigious event from all over the world.
“I’m really looking forward to my performance at the carnival, and I plan to deliver a very good performance … . It will be something special. I know that an event of this magnitude usually attracts patrons from all over the globe, and I plan to keep the Jamaican flag waving very high,” he assured.
Clutcheye is also getting ready to release a brand new single titled Peace and Joy, which was recorded on R. A. B Entertainment’s Big One Drop rhythm, which also features songs from Lukie D, Richie Spice, Spanner Banner and Hezron.
