Snoop Lion, who gave us his rap ways to embrace reggae, recently found himself staring down a tax lien totally more than a half million dollars.

The blunt-spoken star owed back taxes for the years 2009 and 2011. Instead of dodging the big bill, the erstwhile Snoop Dogg decided to keep Uncle Sam happy with one debt-clearing payment.

The lien was released last month.
