Two of Jamaica’s best contemporary voices in reggae, Nature & Gramps Morgan have teamed up to record what can be best described as a truly soulful and inspirational song. The single which is aptly titled Journey has all the makings of a modern day reggae classic.
The song that was produced and released on the Downsound imprint is reminiscent of such musical gems as Jimmy Cliff’s I Can See clearly Now and Buju Banton’s Till I’m Laid To Rest.
Nature said the idea for the song came about in a very natural way.
“The way we came up with this song was just so natural, Gramps and I were in the studio holding a vibes and the next thing you know we find this tune, it’s just one of those things that happens when talented people come together to do Jah works,” said the artist.
Nature said since the song has been released he has been getting a lot of positive feedback from members of the public and industry insiders about it.
“Everybody love this song, I’ve been getting a lot of positive comments from people about it.”
Nature recently delivered a spellbinding performance at the To Mom With Love, Mother’s day showcase that was held at the LIME Golf Academy, which was headlined by American R&B icons the Manhattans and Rose Royce.
He wooed the large audience in attendance with original material such as Mama You Save Me, World Peace, Trying Man along with renditions of Dennis Brown’s For You, Garnett Silk’s Mama Africa and Tracey Chapman’s Revolution.
During his performance members of the audience could be heard commenting about the quality of his performance. One person was heard saying that his movements on stage during his delivery reminded him of the legendary reggae icon Bob Marley.

He’s also scheduled to return to the US in a few weeks time for a series of concerts in New York.
