Ashland, OR—-

Rising up from the fertile soil of Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley where they have quickly emerged as the most popular band in the region, come the Intergalactic Musical Revolutionaries known as IndubiousThe Power Triocomes pumping a positive message, wielding impressive instrumental skill and an electrifying stage presence in support of their groundbreaking new 11-song album Wake The Lion” produced by renown electronic – dub musician GAUDI. The album is set for release nationally on September 24th, and features a progressive genre bending sound they have dubbed

RootsTronica—an eclectic mix of Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Progressive Rock and Electronica, supported by lush harmonies and visionary lyrical messages. The early response to the music has been phenomenal, as the band has finished in the top three in the national Marley’s Music Uprising Band Search Competition (VIEW VIDEO) behind the strength of the album’s debut single“Seventh Generation”.  Indubious is generating a huge buzz regionally and is poised to break nationally with the upcoming release of “Wake The Lion”. The band will be touring the western USA this fall in support of the album’s release.

Fronted by brothers Evan “Evton B” Burton (keys & vocals) and Spencer “Skip Wicked” Burton (bass & vocals) and backed by drummer Matty T. Wells, Indubious spins out an awe inspiring live show that drives audiences towards a higher state of being. Although slowed by illness in 2011 (Both brothers were diagnosed with a degenerative disorder known as Cystic Fibrosis leading to Evan needing a double lung transplant in 2011) the band has rebounded with a very productive 2012-13 touring season that featured performances at many of the west coast’s most prestigious festivals including;Gathering Of The VibesSierra Nevada World Music Festival, Reggae On The River, Beloved, Brit Fest, Benbow Summer Arts Fest, The Oregon Country Faire, Northwest World Reggae Festival and Gaia Festival, plus club and concert hall tours from Seattle to San Diego.

The Burton brothers have shared a very special bond since birth. Not only are they best friends sharing the same passion for making music, they were also both born with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disorder affecting their respiratory system. Facing a grim childhood diagnosis with a life expectancy of 18, the boys were forced to confront death at a young age, giving them a unique outlook on life that would eventually fuel their musical passion and inspire others through their mission. The brothers look upon the disease as a gift, giving rise to a whole new way of thinking and living for them and their faithful fans affectionately known as “Indubians”. Although impacted by their illness they have been able to thrive as musicians. However, youngest brother Evan’s health deteriorated to the point of needing a double lung transplant in the summer of 2011—And by a miracle a donor was located and successful surgery performed, less than two months later Evan had recovered to the point of being able to perform with the band at the legendary Earthdance Festival.  The brothers feel that their illness has always been a blessing; grounding them and making them appreciate how precious each moment of life is. By overcoming their own hardships they have become shining examples of the power of the human spirit to conquer anything in its path. This inspiration is an integral part their music and has won them a loyal and rapidly expanding legion of fans.

In a few short years Indubious has made a huge impact on the West Coast’s conscious music scene, gaining respect among some of the largest reggae touring acts, sharing the stage with greats such as MatisyahuMichael Franti,Junior ReidPato BantonGroundationRootz Underground, and Prezident Brown, to name a few.

To date, Indubious has released two self-produced albums Fresh Leaves (2008) and Cosmic Seed (2010), which debuted at #28 on the CMJ charts “New World” category and was the #1 most added album at the time of release. They have gained much critical acclaim with critics and fans alike, having won KTVL Oregon’s Last Band Standing Competition, and their song Ganja Weed won the International MMA (Global Marijuana Music Award) 2010 for Best Reggae Song.

The band and their legion of fans have adopted the motto of “Live Indubiously,” meaning living life without doubt and fear and a healthy respect for all things in life whether seemingly good or bad. “Our mission is to reconnect the people of the world with rightful living, rightful speaking through teaching the everlasting blessings of service to humanity, of service to our higher purpose and higher selves. Our gift is music – and through our music we wish to speak the truth in an effort to inspire others to do the same, to raise the positive vibrations of our planet and help others express the true loving nature within us all.”
