SINGJAY Rickey Teetz is making the rounds with his latest song, 6:30 Walk, which is accompanied by a saucy music video.

“The song itself is a big hit with the ladies. When it play inna the dance, ah mad ting,” said the Montego Bay-based artist.

The reception is no surprise to the 28-year-old who has had a busy summer itinerary, performing at shows including Lipgloss and Bliss in western Jamaica.

Ricky Teetz (real name Ricardo McLean) first got serious recognition in 2012 through the song Life Goes On. Other recordings such as 1000 Blocks and Poverty were also well-received.

Prior to 6:30 Walk, he had an underground hit called Tip Yuh. He says the hectic studio schedule has paid off.

“It’s been non-stop work for me over the last couple of months, I am pleased with the growth of my career.”
