VETERAN singer/producer Enos McLeod is charting a comeback after a prolonged absence from the Jamaican music scene.

The 67-year-old McLeod did some of his best work during the 1970s. His hit songs include Jestering and Money Worries.

McLEOD… I’m still working since those days

He is in Jamaica recording new songs at Anchor studio. His latest songs include the just released Virtual Lover.

“I’m still working since those days. Still producing, recording, touring in Europe. But now, wi come to lift up the thing to let the fans dem know that I’m still here,” he said.

McLeod also made a name as a producer in the 1970s, working with acts like roots group The Gladiators and deejay Prince Far I.

Many Jamaicans, however, are not familiar with his work.

“Jamaican people don’t know mi like how the people in foreign know mi. I want to let them know they are going to see something different,” he said.
