The Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Trade have confirmed the names of two Jamaicans who were on a boat that capsized seven miles off Miami Beach, United States (US) early Wednesday morning.

The men have been identified as Everton Jones and Matthew Williams.

The ministry says criminal complaints in connection with their attempt to illegally enter the US by boat, were filed against them and three other men yesterday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Fifteen migrants from Haiti, Bahamas and Jamaica had boarded themotor boat, eleven survived, and four women reportedly died.
