AFTER a two-year hiatus, singer Aisha Davis is back with her latest single When You Hold Me.
The track, produced by Ward 21’s Kunley McCarthy, was released last month.

“This track speaks directly to anyone who has ever been in love, including myself. It is about the feelings one gets when he/she is in a relationship. It’s about romance and intimacy,” she told the Jamaica Observer.
The 30-year-old singer said during her absence, she was still in the recording studios.
“Aside from touring with Shaggy as a back-up singer,
I continued to record. However, a lot of them (songs) are yet to be released,” she said.
The Bermuda-born singer enjoyed moderate airplay with Someone Loves You Honey with Anthony B.
She said, “I don’t want fame, I want success. I sing songs that people can relate to and ones that inspire them to live, love and be happy. Every day, I remember that what I am doing is not only for me but for those who believe in my music. I am humbled by this.” she said.
Davis, who relocated to Jamaica at a tender age, attended Immaculate Conception High School in Kingston. She joined the Little People and Teen Players Club where she pursued dancing and singing.
She later became one of the founding members of the ASHE ensemble, then moved to L’Acadco Dance Company.
She has released several songs including Shake It, I’m Done, Love SOS, and Haffi Come Back.
