Singer Cornel Campbell is also confirmed for the show, promoters said in a release.
Producer Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee, currently enjoying a renaissance, is another feature of the One Love Festival.
The Gorgon sound system will lead the tribute to
Lee who fashioned the Greenwich Farm music scene during the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s.
Tappa Zukie and Campbell were part of Lee’s camp in the 1970s. Some of their recordings for the producer earned them a following among the punk movement in the United Kingdom.
A screening of I Am The Gorgon, a bio-pic about the 72-year-old Lee, will be aired.
The One Love Festival was inspired by the One Love Peace Concert which took place in 1978 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
That show featured Bob Marley. It was intended to ease political tension among gangs affiliated to the governing People’s National Party and opposition Jamaica Labour Party.
