A recent collab between Capleton, Contractor and Mojo Morgan has hit the New York Foundation Chart, which is run by popular radio broadcaster Clinton Lindsay.
The track, After All, was produced by Contractor Music Label and will be distributed jointly with Canada-based label SQ Records. The song was done on the ‘Spirited’ rhythm, which also features Bounty Killer’s Want Piece A Rodney.
The song takes a direct and strong aim at corruption. It debuted at number 30 on November 16 and has been receiving a great deal of positive feedback.
Clinton Lindsay, who runs the Foundation Radio Network Show from Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 3:00pm, (www.clintonlindsay.com) has more than 30 years experience in music. He has continued to be a driving force in the development and promotion of reggae music throughout the United States.
This, however, will not be the first time both Capleton and Contractor have enjoyed success on the chart as their previous effort Pain, which also features Bobo Zarro, experienced similar achievements earlier this year.
It is a first-timer though on the charts for Mojo Morgan who laid his vocals to the track in Florida while Capleton and Contractor recorded their verses at the Drop the Bass Studio in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
The multitalented Contractor, real name Sean Edwards, said he is not surprised by the impact the song has managed to have on the public.
