Tessanne Chin continued her amazing journey on the NBC TV talent show The Voice last night, advancing to the top five and keeping alive the hope of a nation anxious to see the talented Jamaican go through to the finals.

Chin, whose performances of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song and Katy Perry’s Unconditionally on Monday night’s show created a big buzz on social media, was the third singer saved by viewers’ votes.

Grammy award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson was so impressed with Chin’s performance that she tweeted “So I just saw the best vocal performance ever on @NBCTheVoice ….holy crap Tessanne can sing! Beautiful, just beautiful! And classy!” Completing the top five are Jacquie Lee, Cole Vosbury, Will Champlin, and James Wolpert
