Overseas-based reggae artist Prince Theo is in Jamaica promoting singles from his new album called Inna State.
According to the artist who is signed to New York-based record label Reggae Vibes Production, his music is part of a positive mission.
“Musically, I just hope the world will hear Prince Theo with the vibe that I am bringing to the table, because music is a mission and there are a lot of issues which artistes should tackle in music. I feel like I have a greater purpose than just singing for singing’s sake,” he said.
Prince Theo and Reggae Vibes Production have already released songs in the United States such as Stress Free and Inna State.
Single release
The artist is gearing up to release a new single also to be featured on the album called Missing You, a music video for the song will also be released in coming weeks.
“Missing You is already released in New York, but not in Jamaica as yet. I do reggae music, roots and culture. Sometimes reggae music doesn’t get as much justice, but it’s all in due time. We just have to have patience until it reach the right level,” Prince Theo said.
Theo, who originally hails from St Thomas, has performed at several festivals in France, Germany and Switzerland. He has also shared the stage with Gentleman at Rototom Festival.
