A Dutch newspaper is reporting that the fallout related to anti-gay lyrics by dancehall artist Sizzla has already started.

The artist who was scheduled to perform in Amsterdam on March 16 has been cancelled.

Dutch media say the invitation to Sizzla was withdrawn yesterday, after a member of the promotion team discovered footage of a Jamaican festival of his songs including anti-gay lyrics.

Sizzla who performed on the 30th anniversary of Sting on Boxing Day has also been banned from that show.

It is reported that he spoke directly in the Pay Per View camera about his dislike for gays.
