Chyna Nicole
International female reggae artist Chyna Nicole is said to be excited over her recently released single “Cheers For Education – They Will Soar,” which will be used as an aid to charity.
The single is being touted by the singer’s camp to have the same impact as Michael Jackson’s We Are the World.
The song is produced by Fitzroy Francis’ Mightyful13 Records, Nico Star Music and renowned musician Courtney Panton, who played on the track. Forty per cent of the proceeds will be donated to www.palas1.org (Peace and Love Academic Scholarship) for student sponsorships. It was also mixed by the efficient Grammy judge Earle Holder.
PALAS is a non-profit organisation founded by Rula Brown. The mission of the charity is to recognise and honour outstanding academics. They have awarded more than 115 scholarships for the past three years and their goal is to award 100 in 2014.
The song is a potential hit, and has already entered the New York Foundation Music Chart, and that sentiment is being earmarked by Chyna Nicole, who has just recently scored big in North America and Europe from her debut album 20 Years in the Making & Ready for the World, which boosted a multiple of producers, including the legendary Bunny Striker Lee.
Chyna Nicole, real name Tania Williams, currently holds a master of science degree in education as well as being an active educator at the elementary level. So, it will go without saying that she is very much aware of the importance of knowledge.
This was the driving factor before putting pen to paper, according to the singer, who was born in the US but grew up in Waterhouse during her early years.
