Magazeen—-JAMAICAN rapper Magazeen is featured on the new mix tape, Catch the Throne, part of the promotion for the fourth season of HBO’s highly rated series, Game of Thrones.

Magazeen, who is signed to American rapper Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, contributed the track Iron Throne.

Magazeen (real name Reagan Bennett) is best known locally for the song Jeans And Timberland, which was featured on Preston Onfroy’s Party Time ‘riddim’ in 2002.

Catch The Throne has been available for download since March 11 via SoundCloud at SoundCloud.com/ CatchTheThrone. It includes songs from American rappers Wale, Common, Outkast’s Big Boi, Daddy Yankee, Dominik Omega and Bodega Bamz.

Originally from McIntyre Villa (also known as Dunkirk) in east Kingston, Magazeen migrated to the United States a few years ago and hooked up with Ross for whom he has recorded several songs.

Recently, he teamed with Wale for the track Twerkin Cyrus on Red Square Productions’ Suburb ‘riddim’.

HBO has released soundtracks for the previous seasons of Game of Thrones, a fantasy drama which is the cable channel’s second most-watched series of all time (bettered only by The Sopranos).

To attract even more viewers for the April 6 premiere of the show’s fourth season, HBO enlisted 10 artists for the hip hop and reggaeton mix tape.
