Anthony Cruz—

EARLIER this week reggae singer Anthony Cruz released his fifth studio album, Inna Di Dance on iTunes.

The 12-track album that hit the market on Wednesday boasts production credits of Winston ‘Wee Pow’ Powell, Christopher James and Cruz.

In addition to the title track, Cruz said he has high hopes for Running and I Won’t Wait, which features singer Luciano.

“The title track is very fitting as it speaks about persons just holding a vibe inside the dancehall and enjoying themselves. That is what the dancehall should be about,” he said.

“A lot of thought was placed into this project. Although it’s an all-reggae album, I ensured that it has that international feel as that is the market that let us go on tour and will lead us towards a Grammy,” Cruz continued.

Other tracks include a remake of R Kelly’s Down Low, Everytime You Go, Watch Over Me and Get Out (featuring Macka Diamond).

The Manchester-born artist, whose given name is Rohan Smith, is also known for hits including Half Way Tree, No Gun Ina Dance and Maria Maria.
