Etana—
Seven of Jamaica’s prominent female dancehall and reggae artists are to perform in Queens, New York on May 24.
In a show dubbed Invasion of the Queens, Queen Ifrica, Etana, Spice, Sister Carol, Junie Ranks, ‘Muma’ Nancy, and Lady Ann are expected to deliver stellar performances on the Amazura stage in Jamaica, Queens.
“The event will deliver an entertaining blend of culture, laced with old school dancehall and today’s rocking hits,” said concert promoter Donald Wright.
The line-up of cultural crusaders known for their biting social commentaries and women known for their dancehall prowess, offers a good blend.
The event will be hosted by Reggae Top 10 and Video Alley’s Suzie Q.
