FAST-rising Montego Bay-based sinjay Prissy G is set to face her biggest test since entering in the music business.
She is booked to make her debut at the 22nd staging of Reggae Sumfest scheduled for the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay. She is slated to appear on International Night 2, on July 19.
“I am hoping to make a big impression that will enable me to close the show next year,” she said.
Entertainers scheduled for that night include American hip-hop artiste Future; Grammy-winning deejay Sean Paul; season five winner of The Voice, Tessanne Chin; veteran singer Freddie McGregor, lover’s rock singer Sanchez, producer/deejay The Wizard, and Zvuloon Dub System from Israel.
The annual weeklong event is scheduled for July 13-19.
Born in Hanover, Prissy G’s given name is Preceita Gray. She is known for tracks including What’s Life, Let’s Party, One Day At A Time, Yellow Tape, Moving On, Earthquake and Anonymous.
