FAST-RISING, roots reggae act Chronixx is set to perform on the The Tonight Show aired on American network NBC, next Tuesday.
The show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, is set to see the young Jamaican singer performing alongside his Zinc Fence Redemption Band.
Chronixx — who is booked to perform at Reggae Sumfest tonight — will be using the late- night TV performance as a cap for the US leg of his Dread and Terrible Tour, which got under way on May 25.
The tour has seen Chronixx performing in Florida, New York, Virginia, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maryland. There are two stops to go on the US tour — Georgia, and a closing concert in New York’s Central Park, next Saturday, July 26.
The Dread and Terrible Tour will head for the summer festivals in Europe during August into early September.
Chronixx is set for gigs in Belgium, Germany, France, Croatia, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, Slovenia, Poland, Spain, Slovakia, Norway, and Denmark. The European leg of the tour closes on September 6.
